This Seminar is for
Beginner Handlers, Advance Handlers, Junior Handlers & Observers

WHO SHOULD ATTEND? Anyone who has ever lost to a lesser dog in the conformation show ring! Regardless of whether you are competing for the Winner’s points, Best of Breed, the Group, or even Best in Show, this seminar can help you sharpen your Winning Edge! This seminar will include tips on showing a dog to its greatest advantage, enhancing the dog’s overall appearance, the psychology and philosophy of winning and handler attitude and ring appearance.

COURSE LEVELS: 

Beginner Handler - (limited to 20 participants w/dogs) Geared towards the novice exhibitor.

Advanced Handler - (limited to 20 participants w/dogs) Geared tor those who are at the point that they do not have to consciously think about their every move.

Observers - (unlimited attending w/o dogs) A great opportunity to listen and learn without the distraction of a dog.

COST: $150.00 Beginner and Advanced Handlers   $75.00 Observers and Junior Handlers

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: This seminar is designed to educate the participants, it’s not a training session for the dogs so please bring only ring-wise, well mannered dogs over one year of age. Cost includes continental breakfast and lunch for both days. Seminar hours are from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm each day. Upon receiving your registration with your payment, you will receive a confirmation letter with more specific information about the seminar, including local area hotels and directions to the seminar site.

AKC Obedience and Rally Seminars

For Judges, Future Judges and Exhibitors

Location: AKC Museum of The Dog
1721 South Mason Road
St. Louis, MO 63131

Directions: I-270 to Exit 9 (MO-100, Manchester Rd). West on Manchester Rd for1.8 miles to S Mason. Right on S Mason for 1.1 miles to AKC Museum of the Dog.

Additional Notes:
   ● Obedience seminar will meet the AKC Judge’s
   ● Education Requirements for Obedience Judges
   ● Rally in conjunction with the Obedience seminar will meet the AKC Judges Education Requirements for Rally Judges
   ● Seminars will generally consist of a power point
   ● presentation, including topics listed for each seminar
   ● The number of attendees is limited
   ● Fees include light breakfast, snacks and lunch each day
   ● Demonstration dogs will not be needed for the obedience or the rally seminar presentation
