Membership Information

We invite all interested parties to become a member of our club. Listed below is some general information about how and what is required to become a member.

Eligibility of Membership

• There are two types of memberships open
• 1. Individual membership open to persons eighteen years of age and older who are in good standing with the American Kennel Club and who subscribe to the purpose of JCKC.
• 2. Junior membership open to persons under 18 years of age who are sponsored by 2 members in good standing of JCKC. This will be a non-voting membership.

Membership Dues

• Membership dues are $10.00 per year, payable on or before the first of July each year.
• New members' dues are pro-rated from the first year to the nearest quarter date. at $2.50 per quarter.
• No member may vote whose dues are not paid for the current year.

Election to Membership

• All applicants much have attended at least two JCKC meetings prior to submitting their application.
• All applicants are to be filed with the Chairman of the Membership Committee, who will within 30 days, forward the application to the Board for their consideration.
• At the next regular JCKC meeting, the application will be read to the general membership.
• The application will be voted on by the membership at the following regular JCKC meeting with the approval of 3/4 of the eligible voting members present for acceptance.

Applications for membership who have bee rejected by JCKC may not re-apply within six months after such rejection.
