Our Mission:

  • Our club does all in its power to protect and advance the interest of all breeds of pure-bred dogs and to encourage sportsmanlike competition at dog shows, obedience trials, and other dog related events.
  • We conduct sanctioned matches, dog shows, obedience and rally trials, and other dog related events under the rules of the American Kennel Club.

About Our Club:

  • We were incorporated in 1974.
  • We are a member of the American Kennel Club.
  • All membership is open to all interested parties.
    Individual (18 years or older) at $10.00 per year;
    Junior (under 18 years, non-voting member) free.

We have monthly meetings, which are held in Jefferson County on the fourth Wednesday of each month (except November and December, meetings are held on the third Wednesdays). Our meetings are always open to the General Public and all interested parties are invited to attend.

We hold Conformation training classes for our club members and the public to promote the pure bred dog fancy. We are also offering Obedience, Rally, Canine Good Citizen, Puppy and various other classes to help train your dog to be a better more well behaved family member. For additional information on class location and times, please go to our classes page.

We encourage you to check breed information while choosing your new AKC puppy.
